17-century baroque village with old, well-set many years ago ski area: great pistes, unique climate on Thimel, 150km of excellent snow traces for any requirements and difficulties. Valloire has everything you can expect, incl. ice area, bowling, many restaurants, shops, ski rentals. 2 cabin lifts up from the centre of Valloire.

Great location for road/mountain bike riding, walking etc. The town is very clean and puts on entertainment for kids in the town square. Lots of great restaurants but a bit on the pricey side (€24 for a main and up to €8 for a beer!) that said the service was brilliant.
