The Swell, Rhosneigr - Ground floor 2 bed With Parking, hotel in Aberffraw

The Swell, Rhosneigr - Ground floor 2 bed With Parking is situated in Rhosneigr, 2.2 km from Porth Nobla Beach, 43 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, as well as 49 km from Snowdon.

Great stay! Fantastic little flat in a fab location. Terrible wifi and therefore TV connection. It may only be a small point for some but when you've a young child it makes a difference to the overall experience. The wifi connection was very intermittent and so connection to the smart TV was very sporadic, this made for a very frustrating viewing experience. Aside from that the flat had everything we needed, in a very central location. Beds were the comfiest we'd slept in for a while!

Driftwood Boutique Guest House, hotel in Aberffraw

Driftwood Boutique Guest House is located in Rhosneigr, 43 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, 49 km from Snowdon, as well as 25 km from Anglesey Sea Zoo.

We liked everything, it was the perfect getaway for our last minute "we're really fed up, everything is rubbish and we need a break". (Booked Thu am for Sat arrival). Lovely accommodation - clean and well equipped/appointed. NB. It was said the rooms were soundproofed (maybe due to the proximity of RAF Valley?), that may be true or it was just a quiet night but it was wonderfully silent! A usual big criticism of mine when away is a poor shower BUT this ticked all boxes with not only overhead rainfall (fab for washing long hair) but also the smaller bit when you don't want to get your hair wet!! There were great breakfast choices, my husband had the English muffin with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (yes we did find a local deli who stocked the same and he is v happy!), I had the Full Welsh (did share some with Himself too!) and it was very good. The breakfast team were lovely and apologised for a possible delay as a few came down to eat a once but we weren't in a rush and said so, we've waited in much worse places for much worse food!! Would recommend and stay there again. Our stay was 3rd factor knock on by personal recommendation and they were all right!. Many thanks to the Driftwood team. Hope we can stay with you again. 🙂 PS. Many thanks for the much appreciated additional request, ♿️that was very kind and ultimately whilst not needed, you made us feel we weren't a bother.

Shepherds Hut with hot tub on Anglesey North Wales, hotel in Aberffraw

Located in Gwalchmai and only 34 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, Shepherds Hut with hot tub on Anglesey North Wales provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

High quality accommodation, clearly thought out by owner. Amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. The added touch of a bottle of Prosecco and birthday balloon was a welcome addition to our birthday celebrations. Hot tub and setting was beautiful. Maggie is super friendly, attentive and responsive but not intrusive at all.

Aberffraw is a small village on the west coast of Anglesey.

Aberffraw is a small village on the west coast of Anglesey. The river Ffraw flows in to the sea between the village and a large expanse of sand dunes. The walk from the village along the river is a several hundred yards where you come to the lovely sandy beach. Following the Coastal Path on the other side of the river from the village takes you around the rocky peninsular to St Cwyfans Bay where erosion almost washed away St Cwyfans Church. It was rescued with a wall built around it and is known as The Church In The Sea. In high tides it is cut off from the main land. Being a small village Aberffraw has a post office selling groceries, a pub, a church and a bus stop.
