Nice town very close to m25 .
Nice town very close to m25 . Convenient shops etc Waitrose Tesco next to each other all walking distance on high street . Lovely Japanese sushi take away . Standard high street shops nothing fancy . We chose the property Addlestone because it was equidistant to the places we planned to visit - Chessington, Windsor and Legoland - during our 3 day/4 night stay. Addlestone itself offers all you could need in the way of supermarkets, restaurants and take-aways plus a station for easy access to London if required It has a super park (Victory Park) which the children enjoyedAnneUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0
Addlestone is not much of a place.
Addlestone is not much of a place. It has all the necessary facilities (breakfast in Tesco etc); the inhabitants are perfectly pleasant and my hotel, The Crouch Oak, though very basic, was exceptionally good value. All this made my brief stay satisfactory. However, there appears to be little, or nothing, of cultural interest or beauty here. No old quarter, as far as I could see, unlike most of these small Surrey towns. Maybe a longer stay and more investigation would have uncovered something, though I won't be booking my hols here.
