. The main hotel building is beautiful, both the lobby and the dining room. The surrounding gardens also provide for great atmosphere.
In addition to the bed, there us a nice couch where you can sit and watch TV.
We had very good dinner in the hotel restaurant. We also had the continental breakfast buffet which was OK value at 9 pound per person, though selection is quite limited.
Garvally House was a hidden Gem in Alloa, perfect for our needs,The owner was so lovely, she made us feel really at home, she made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her, breakfast was superb and so much on the menu to choose from. I would not hesitate to recommend Garvally House to anybody looking for such a place.I will certainly stay again when in the area.
Almost everything about this hotel is exceptional.
It is an amazing building & the atrium is like something from Downton Abbey.
The spa facilities are exceptional, despite not having a pool, and they have a number of hot tubs and full spa facilities.
The restaurant was brilliant. Staff were lovely. Great value. Far exceeded our expectations. Our room itself was lovely.
It was in the ideal location for us to visit relatives who were within walking distance. All the mod cons of home on one floor which suited my wife's limited mobility on stairs. Handy little shop at bottom of the street which did cooked sausage, bacon etc if you were a bit lazy. Bus stops nearby to both Alloa and Stirling if you fancy shopping or sightseeing.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was good and the terrace was excellent for pre-dinner drinks on a sunny June evening. Hotel grounds were verdant.
Place enjoys a good vibe. Very handy for visiting the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel.
Beautiful hotel and wee woodland lodges! Such a lovely initiative to have both options as choices. The breakfast, dinner and bar options were fantastic, plus so was the service. I also fully enjoyed and made use of the spa facilities!
