My breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent! The lady that cooked and served my breakfast was friendly and we had a nice conversation about the hotel’s history and the area.
Lovely area. We were cycling and although not flat countryside, it was undulating and a bit challenging at times. Very beautiful villages with thatched cottages and gorgeous gardens. Will go again.

It’s an agricultural setting but not too far from villages with shops. The coast at Dunwich is within easy reach and the towns of Southwold, Saxmundham and Aldborough are not far. So, it was easy to stay in our ‘Covid’ bubble but also to go for walks on the coast.
