The cottage is super comfortable with gorgeous views of the mountains, loch and if you get lucky like we did, deer. Everything you need to dine in if needed. Lots of streaming services if your in at night which I rarely see at other places I stayed. Kimmy, the host couldn't be more friendly or delightful to deal with. Can't rank these guys highly enough. Best interaction and stay I've had so far in using Booking.com all these years. They're amazing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities met my needs. There was plenty of space in the kitchen/communal areas, which isn't always the case in some hostels. The little shop in the reception area was a nice bonus.

Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

attractive village next to a loch.
attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift.
Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy.
Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.

Craig Moray Cottage
An immaculate, self-catering cosy cottage within easy reach of the various attractions in Ballachulish, including the local Co-Op. This lovely and comfortable accommodation was one of the few places that actually allowed us to stay one night only, as most places have a 2 night minimum stay requirement. Thank goodness we found this little place! We were so comfortable there and had everything we needed. We would go back in a heartbeat! A huge thank you to Anthony and Mairi.
This was in such an amazing location in Glencoe. Surrounded by the stone mountains. like something out of a fairy tale. My daughter and I walked the West Highland Way for a few days but then had to give into blisters and tired feet. This was such a great place to relax and hang out while my sister finished that days hike. They have a Restaurant and a couple of bar areas that were really fun to hang out at and get a great bite to eat or drink.
the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road!
they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!
A beautiful house tucked away quietly in Ballachulish. Felt warm and welcomed throughout. Jackie was excellent and friendly. I met the owner David as well. The place is run on generous hospitality. Nice touches included the welcome hamper and provision of washing powder and dishwasher tablets as part of basic kit. It was a lovely base for Munro bagging in this part of Scotland.
The atmosphere / vibe of the Inn, the location, the food, the staff, the amazing bar and restaurant out the back. Bonus - it was adults-only. Local musicians came and played for us on the Sunday night which really made our evening. The room was cozy, warm, the beds were really comfortable, and the views outside when you wake up of the mountains are incredible!
The property looked like a very recent conversion so everything was very new and kept in exceptionally good condition, the pictures show how well equipped and clean it is.
We have stayed in Ballachulish twice before and this was the best by far especially for the fantastic mountain views through the windows. A short walk to either the mountains or estuary.
Perfect location in a quiet wooded area, the cottage is very cozy and was perfect for our group of 3 adults and a dog. There was everything we could have needed, from local OS maps to tea towels and tea, coffee, and seasonings. It was our second stay in the Woodland Cabins and hopefully not the last!
The breakfast was excellent and the staff in the dining room were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, particularly the Highland game pie! They were able to accommodate for a gluten free diet. The bar had live music and that was good fun.
This was a comfortable cottage for a short break in Ballachulish. I didn't meet the hosts in person but they left a welcome pack, which was very good, and they checked how things were by text message. Kitchen was well equipped.
This a great spot to explore the Glencoe area. There is a nice Loch walk nearby. The accommodation itself was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some good restaurants not far away also. Great for a short stay.
Gorgeous views around the location and proximity to the fantastic cycle path to Oban. The property is in a very secluded spot making it really private and the Hotel within 15 mins Servs food and drinks.
It is located just by the loch with a great mountain view from the garden. The room was spotlessly clean. WiFi worked well. The host provided helpful information about local restaurants.
Separate accommodations connected to owners residence. 2-bedroom, 2- bath with kitchen and laundry. beautiful setting and close proximity to the highlights of the Highlands
A beautiful location and a romantic wee lodge. Ideal for a quiet, short break. Easy walking distance to Ballachulish and Glencoe Village for good food.
