The Lemon Tree, hotel in Bangor-is-y-coed

In Wrexham town center, the Lemon Tree Hotel offers stylish rooms with character features. With free WiFi and free parking, there is also a restaurant.

We stayed for just one night when visiting family. Apart from very creaky floorboards the room was fine, Breakfast was excellent. We will probably stay again.

Bangor on Dee/Bangor is-y-coed is a pretty village in between Wrexham and Whitchurch, located right beside the fairly fast flowing River Dee, with a beautiful church on the riverside, also two hotels/pubs across the road. There are many places easily accessible from here, the Welsh hills can be seen not far away, there is a network of canals from North Wales into Shropshire, plenty to see and do if one looks, for me it is a slower pace of life to relax and really enjoy your time here.
