Firstly, Maria (the host) was exceptionally gracious. She offered to accommodate us in the event our ferry was canceled due to weather. She seems like a lovely, caring person.
The apartment was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect: a very short walk to downtown.

Lovely spacious cottage- close to Stornoway but outside the centre to give that island experience. The cottage had a really well equipped kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee and some Scottish shortbread and oatcakes
