The staff are a massive asset to the white horse, chantel and Debra were really friendly and helpful and did all they could to ensure you stay was a goood one. the location was peaceful and the rooms very clean. The food was excellent, and i fully intend to stay again next time i am in the area. The stay was so much more enjoyable than staying in a genric hoytel chain.

Really lovely little place .
Greeted by a pleasant man and lady at reception , check in was smooth We stayed here for one night because we had a party close by , we were given cab numbers and told about where we could get food and drink , there is a Indian on site which looks impressive but we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to try it
. All staff and residents on site were very friendly . We had a drink in the boathouse which is good value for money staff were attentive and welcoming . We stayed in a delux double room that was clean comfortable , Modern and well equipped.
The areas around the marina are well kept , it’s a really peaceful tranquil setting
We attended the restaurant on our departure date and was really looking forward to a breakfast which again looks good value for money , but we were told that no food was being sold and the coffee machine wasn’t working. This was really disappointing as this would have been the end to a perfect stay .
We will return and stay for 2 nights next time and try the Indian and hopefully have no future issues

Comfortable bed, good breakfast - although it finished at 9am even at weekends.
Chose a pub to have a drink in the evening - but the pub shut friday and saturday evening, without informing residents who stayed over night.
Beautiful location - bizarre the only pub for miles closes on a weekend evening !!

Martin and the team, were so welcoming and facilities excellent. Lovely cooked breakfast freshly prepared. Comfortable bed, beautifully clean towels and bedding and plenty of hot water.
We enjoyed an evening meal and good sing-a-long with the piano music and the locals. A real local village pub that hasn’t lost its charm.
