Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World, hotel in Berkley

This English country house in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside has a luxurious spa and restaurant where every dish is crafted with the freshest local ingredients.

The location is fabulous, and the main building, rooms and spa clean and atmospheric. The spa is a strong point given the indoor and outdoor facilities. The food, once delivered, was superb and was the highlight of the stay, especially breakfast. If you are allergic to dog hair, stay away, as all the rooms (including bedrooms) are doggy friendly - a plus and negative!

Lovely Inn. Stylish decoration and furnishings, cosy atmosphere. Very old building full of character. Staff very friendly, literally nothing was too much trouble. Family bedroom had everything you need, bathroom had bath as well as a separate shower. Big car park and a large garden area with seating. Ending up joining in with Morris Dancing troupe who arrived… but that was our choice, not compulsory!

George Hotel & Granary, hotel in Berkley

George Hotel & Granary is a 4-star property set in Frome. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar. The accommodation provides free WiFi.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and had everything I needed for a weekend break. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. There was a good choice on the menu and the food was hot and tasty when it arrived. There was live entertainment (drag artist) on the Friday evening and although it wasn't to my taste it was obviously very popular with some customers.
