Not somewhere to holiday, need to have a reason to visit Biggleswade. Place looks rather tired. I used to live in the area, left around 2007 and rather glad I did. Ate at the Stratton House Hotel, lovely food and great service. Had a few pints in The Wheatsheaf, great little local pub.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Biggleswade seems like a very pleasant little town with a variety of shops and places to eat. We only stayed for 1 night but there is lots of information about walks in the area which look good. We went to Old Warden (a model village about 6 mile drive) which is well worth a visit, particularly for those interested in old aircraft (See the Shuttleworth Collection) and the pub food there was excellent with very friendly staff and clientele.MarionUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We came to Biggleswade mainly to visit the Shuttleworth estate, so the Wetherspoons hotel in the town centre was ideally placed. The town itself is fairly small but has some nice attractions & a few independent shops. Nice place overall.
