Bluewaters Hotel Blackpool, hotel in Blackpool

On Blackpool's exclusive North Promenade, Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Limited on-site parking is available, subject to surcharge.

The room was really nice and clean, plenty room for a one nights stay , bathroom was really nice , shower had plenty space and you didn't feel like a sardine crammed in a tiny space like some showers. The facilities were excellent with the game room now being downstairs you can play games without knocking into things behind you . All rooms are currently being upgraded and they are doing a wonderful job of upgrading , rooms look so fresher and not so outdated like they were before.

Situated in Blackpool and with Blackpool South Beach reachable within 400 metres, The Marsden Hotel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.

Our room was up one flight of stairs and overlooking the main street. The hotel was not far at all from the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle water park. For anyone wanting these attractions it is a great location and if you need the main town centre the tram stop is not far away. There was cereal choices for breakfast and also cooked breakfast option.

FAQs about hotels in Blackpool

Beside the Seaside, Beside the Sea

A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.

On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!

More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.

A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Plenty to do in Blackpool for all ages and for all weather - we had a sunny day and enjoyed exploring the piers and amusements and then a comedy show in the evening at the Blackpool Comedy Club which was an excellent finish to our day. We also went to the Grand theatre later in the week to see 2:22 A Ghost Story which was also great.

walked along the Promenade , was nice and clean(no doggy doo). Even though it was raining it was pleasant enough walk, crossed road and went into a few arcades , had some fun and found a nice quirky café in the top of one arcade(Blackpool amusement's) which was lovely and cheap. lots of the shop fronts were still closed and this was around 10am , most don't open till around 11am ish . overall , its a nice place to visit.

    Pine lodge hotel was disgusting!

Pine lodge hotel was disgusting! Wallpaper peeling off walls, condensation on windows, hairs in the beds, the bedding was dirty, floors were dirty. I paid for two nights but l left the next day as I was unable to sleep, I booked via booking .com. Based on my experience, NO l would not recommend Blackpool, Pine lodge hotel or booking.com who displayed false images of the hotel including a dining room which this hotel didn't have, it also doesn't seem to have a complaints dept!

Kettle provided and a flatscreen TV. En suite shower and toilet with towels provided. Decided to have the breakfast option and was supplied with a plentiful choice of cereal and toast with jams then a full English breakfast that was hot and very tasty. Second time I’ve stayed in this hotel, absolutely amazing and friendly staff. Bar is pretty decent priced too also. Location is okay, if your staying south shore but if wanting north it’s about 10-15 walk to tower. Basic small rooms,( twin) but that’s all I wanted as literally just went to hotel to sleep as was always out. Very very good for groups, or if you wanting a piss up in Blackpool
