A wonderful location close to Salisbury but in very quiet countryside, good facilities, plenty or room for a couple, and plenty to see within easy day-driving range. On this occasion it gave us a very convenient lodging whilst visiting family in Salisbury, as well as a half-way break on our way to stay with friends in Cornwall.

Access to the coastal paths is reasonably quick but the real delight are all the local footpaths around the droves and byways ...great open tracts of unspoilt country. Good pubs and towns around. Salisbury ,Stonehenge,Poole,Marlborough ,Dorchester,Bath ,Winchester to name a few . Many many gardens and houses to visit also.
