The location was good. The hotel was pleasant and nicely styled. The public areas were cool and calm and comfortable. The bedroom was very small but decoration ok. Air conditioning was a bonus. The bed was comfortable and generally good facilities of a decent standard. The restaurant food cooked by john was excellent. The waiting staff...amelia etc were lovely.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere. It is beautifully decorated to the highest standard,The rooms are very comfortable with exceptional bathrooms. The standard of cleanliness is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is ideal for the city; the restaurants , the cathedrals , the castle and the theatre. We would definitely recommend and certainly return if we visit Norwich again.

The food in the George and Dragon pub was lovely and the service was excellent. We liked that you could buy a drink from the pub and take it down to your room in a plastic cup. The owners/staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed as well as checking to make sure the hot tub was hot enough and helping us with the WiFi. The room and hot tub was clean and we would definitely visit again!

Breakfast was very good, lots of choice could have done with some cereal. Service was a bit patchy, order came with beans and no mushrooms as asked for. Had to ask for cutlery and butter just a bit of effort needed really. Room was good, nice ensuite, windows not great as pigeons came in room when opened. Location really good couldnt have been better. Just think with a little money spent on it to update and a bit of training for staff this location could be excellent. Staff very friendly and did try. Food when it arrived as did have to wait quite a while was excellent and worth the wait.
