Hotelli sijaitsee Newburyn ostoskadun toisessa päässä, kävelymatkan päässä liikkeistä ja ravintoloista. Yleiset tilat viihtyisät, jopa prameat, puutarhaterassi idyllinen. Aamupala runsas,"kunnollinen englantilainen aamiainen". Ravintolassa maukkaat annokset, joita muokattiin pyynnöstä gluteenittomiksi. Menu oli kuitenkin aika suppea. Palvelut aamiaisella ja ravintolassa toimivat hyvin. Huone tilava ja sängyt riittävän pehmeät. Huoneessa vedenkeitin ja tarvikkeet kahvin tai teen keittämiseen. Siivouksen yhteydessä tuotiin huoneeseen ½ litran vesipullot. Hotelli on n. 10 km päässä Highcleren linnasta, Taksin sai varattua hotellin vastaanotosta. Taksimatka maksoi 24£ /suunta.
