The Castle Hotel is such close walk from the train station. We were greeted warmly and offered afternoon snacks, sandwiches and quiche. Was simply lovely after a long day of travel.

Burnmouth Harbour is the Oldest Harbour in Scotland.
Burnmouth Harbour is the Oldest Harbour in Scotland. There are no Pubs there apart from the One on the A1 at the top of the Hill. So the the people and Guests you get there are grateful for that and you don't get your lager louts or people wanting to be loud and out if order. The people we meet there are always respectful to others and expect the same back which is always the Case.If you want to get away from the Hassle and Bussle Burnmouths the place.Ive seen people just get back in the car in 5 mins because it's not there cup of Tea.Ive been going there every year for 15 years and my partner been going there since she was a child and is 40.
