The property is located on the main road next to a hotel and a bar of the same or maybe older construction with a stream running next to it, a fairytale landscape with a country atmosphere with pleasant and friendly people!

Beautiful property with a lovely outside area. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side but the inside eating area was lovely and cosy also.

Lovely cozy hotel with details like wellington boots to borrow, fresh milk to your room in the morning and the radio on when you arrive with some great jazz music. The restaurant in the pub was absolutely delicious for dinner and really high quality food. Comfortable bed and great location to explore a small village and beautiful countryside. Loved that it wasn´t in a touristy town but was close to Cirencester.

The room was lovely, there was a comfy bed and great space, bathroom had a free standing bath which was nice and supply of tea/coffee and a lovely cookie was nice.
Breakfast was ok , tbh the continental breakfast was a bit limited and tbh the melon looked like it had been out all night as it was very dry.
Dinner was ok , unfortunately my husband who ate the fish pie was ill all night and the following two days on return afterwards with stomach problems and although like the receptionist said there had been no other complaints about the fish pie that is all he had eaten to result in the diarrhoea. So we thought it would be best to inform staff just in case as you have to be careful with fish.

Stunning hotel - the design of the rooms and the main areas is exquisite, everything is thought through. The restaurant and cocktail bar are great, breakfast was very good as well. The spa is lovely and the working hours are quite long but try to book the treatments in advance as it gets busy. You can also walk around beautiful lake, river and the forest located at the hotel grounds. In short, it's a gorgeous hotel - you won't be disappointed.
Located on the outskirts of the Cotswold, just 1 mile from the market town of Cirencester, Stratton House Hotel & Spa offers free WiFi throughout.

All staff, from check-in through to the restaurant service, were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the hotel is ideally located to explore Cirencester and the surrounding area. The food was to a very good quality, nicely cooked and presented. There are a range of options on the menu to suit all tastes and the menu is available to check on the website.

Great food friendly staff, a lovely historical building , downside snall room, but badly let down by the bathroom needed a deep clean behind the toilet and the shower unit has black mould all round the sealant on the foot tray, not acceptable for the tarriff being charged.

Meals were good. Dog friendly. Grounds very nice.
Meals were good. Dog friendly. Grounds very nice. Rooms were awful. In need of redecoration. Dusty, cobwebs everywhere, chipped mugs, no useable showers, broken sash cord so couldn't open window, mouse droppings in one room. Hotel is on busy road and not in Chedworth. Circular walk in grounds totally overgrown. Booked for a superior double room but was no different to other rooms. Very overpriced. Wouldn't stay there again.

Lovely community mainly along twisting lanes.
Lovely community mainly along twisting lanes. Farm shop a gem. Great walks across lanes and fields mostly signposted including to historic sites. Peaceful. One main local historic pub - note that Sunday roasts only lunchtime not all day. Many pubs around accessible by car. Roads decent if narrow. Beware in late September the high number of pheasants wandering on some roads between villages.
