Paragraph Edmonton, hotel in Cheshunt

Set in Palmers Green, 4.9 km from Wood Green Metro Station, Paragraph Edmonton offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

I could not like anything, it was horrible, I didnt even check in. I was travelling with my autistic daughter and took a taxi to the hotel from the airport, it is located in a not so nice street. The worst thing was that we arrived at between 12 and 13 and I could not check in until 15:00 and they wouldnt keep the suitcase until we could check in. So I was stuck with my suitcase at the end of the street and coulnt walk around there to find a place to stay while we waited. Absalutely horrible experiance travelling for the first time with my daugther to London.

Roydon Marina Village Hotel, hotel in Cheshunt

Roydon Marina Village Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Roydon Rail Station, which has direct links to Stratford Rail Station.

Really lovely little place . Greeted by a pleasant man and lady at reception , check in was smooth We stayed here for one night because we had a party close by , we were given cab numbers and told about where we could get food and drink , there is a Indian on site which looks impressive but we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to try it . All staff and residents on site were very friendly . We had a drink in the boathouse which is good value for money staff were attentive and welcoming . We stayed in a delux double room that was clean comfortable , Modern and well equipped. The areas around the marina are well kept , it’s a really peaceful tranquil setting We attended the restaurant on our departure date and was really looking forward to a breakfast which again looks good value for money , but we were told that no food was being sold and the coffee machine wasn’t working. This was really disappointing as this would have been the end to a perfect stay . We will return and stay for 2 nights next time and try the Indian and hopefully have no future issues

There are no tea or coffee provided, there isn't a sofa bed...

There are no tea or coffee provided, there isn't a sofa bed it is just a mattress that was left for us under the stairs. The owners require you to leave a deposit of £300 which I still haven't had returned to my account. The pots that are provided are massive and look like they have been used in a restaurant. The toilet cistern makes a funny noise as it is filling up and this goes on all night so that we couldn't sleep. the tvs provided have no connections so effectively do not work.

Beautiful nature reserve to spend hours walking or cycling around. You can do fishing here too at designated areas. Wildlife spotting was fantastic. You can book to open water swim at the Young Mariners at Cheshunt lake, which I highly recommend.

It’s away from the busy city of London and has a lot of stores and parks nearby (about 10 minute walks). The inside is beautifully decorated and there’s a big space to park 2 vehicles outside. The train/tube isn’t far either, only a 20 minute walk. Overall it’s a great location. Heather is a lovely host and checks to see if you’re doing good. She also has cereal, coffee, and tea in the room as well.

Heather is a great host, welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much bother, she was even kind enough to give us a lift to the nearest train station for our day out in London. Its my 2nd stay and it was as lovely as the first, nice clean room, comfy beds and everything you need for a stay. Can't recommend enough, will be staying again in the future.

The house lady is very kind and helpful. She allowed us to check in early, which was very nice. (it was very cold). The room is quite pretty with a private bathroom and garden. There were some kitchenware, a fridge, oven and kettle. So that you can prepare some quick meals. We liked it here! Definitely will come again. Thank you !

Exceptional value for a stay near London. Right next to train station. Location is great next to Lee Valley which is a fantastic outdoor area But it is a youth hostel so its basic but then it was clean and cheap - good self-catering kitchen
