The Masons Arms, hotel in Colyford

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach.

We found everything about the Masons Arms to be exceptional. The property is well maintained and is located on a quiet street in a small village, which the setting allowed us to relax and enjoy the overall experience. The room was very well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and large en-suite. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was both very delightful.

The Mariners Hotel, hotel in Colyford

Featuring sea views, The Mariners Hotel is nestled in the heart of Lyme Regis. Dating back to the 17th century, this former coaching inn has a large private garden and rooms with free WiFi access.

Breakfast and location were perfect. There were no foldable luggage racks so we had to put suitcases on bed or floor. But the clean towels were stored on the bed. Odd

The Nags Head - Room only accommodation, hotel in Colyford

The Nags Head - Room only accommodations is a traditional, CAMRA approved Inn offering room only accommodations in Lyme Regis.

The pub isn’t far from the seafront - parking not too far away but pretty expensive. Room not a bad size - small bathroom.

Lyme Townhouse, hotel in Colyford

Just 2 minutes from Lyme Regis shops and beach, Lyme Townhouse has charming refurbished rooms with free WiFi and private bathrooms. Continental breakfasts and selected hot items are included.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in convenient town centre location. The room was very pretty and quite spacious for a small double, which is what we had paid for. Lovely toiletries were provided and a good selection of tea and coffee to make in the room. There was a fridge on the landing area with a bottle of milk inside for each room and we also put a bottle of wine in there. There was also an iron and ironing board and also board games for the guests to borrow. Breakfast waqs delicious and the two staff members we met were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved this B&B We stayed for 3 nights. Comfy bed, lovely bed linen and super soft towels! Shower and bath also great with lots of hot water. Tea coffee biscuits and water also in the room. Superb breakfast with great choice and very friendly staff, especially Dorothy the owner, nothing was too much trouble. Great location with off road parking. We would definitely return again, and would highly recommend a stay.

Colyford is a small, quiet place with beautiful buildings, enough inland to enjoy the scenery but near to many coastal resorts. The pubs are all very nice and providing you eat meat, their menus are good. As veggies, we had to travel a little further. But the area is so lovely, this was no hardship.

The hotel's location is close to the border of East Devon...

The hotel's location is close to the border of East Devon and West Dorset and is very conveniently placed for all the local seaside beauty spots such as Beer and Branscombe. Not forgetting the Jurassic coastline. The seaside town of Seaton is just two miles away which offers plenty of pubs, coffee houses and restaurants.

Amazing hotel and family!! A beautifully presented room, run by a fabulous family who could not have done enough to help me enjoy my stay. They went over and above expectation to make me welcome and ensure I had everything I needed or required. The service and food was superb. Phillippa, their youngest daughter was the perfect hostess, welcoming me at the door and delivering me early morning breakfast to the room with her adorable, gorgeous smile. Thankyou all so much for making me so welcome, I will be back!

Excellent breakfast. You select what you want on a sheet the night before, and select a time (at 15 min intervals). Lots of home made ingredients. We had a large room with a great view, and a very comfortable bed. The owners are lovely people. Parking is round the back. There are two pubs within walking distance, both serve food. The Nature reserves are walking distance away, Seaton is 1.5 miles. There's an electric tram from Seaton to Colyford which we used once. Great fun.
