I stayed in the small separate cottage right next door. That’s the cats pajamas. Was my local back in the eighties ..felt good to be back. My compliments to the chef for that spicy salmon dish.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful bucolic setting. The lodges were unique and well developed given the lack of space.
The farm animals added a charm as did the view of the bay. Needed an extra day to really enjoy the location. Enjoyed the extra cost breakfast delivered to the door as we had an early departure. Host was very charming and informative, truly cares about his guests.
A quiet week with lots to do. Was quiet with locals rather than tourists around. Would suggest to leave till after Easter time as gets busier and places are open more frequently. I am related to people who live in the town so know more things to do

Lovely wee town, so picturesque and very friendly.
Lovely wee town, so picturesque and very friendly. Shame the options to eat out are a bit limited with just the one hotel at the moment (which was by the way lovely). Hopefully some of the other eating establishments will be back up and running soon as it is a super wee place to visit and the variety would only add to the experience. So interesting and lots of nice walks and history to absorb. Particular mention of Calluna ladies boutique who were open sat and sun and couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Will def visit again.

Restful little town with lovely views of Cromarty Firth from the Links. Royal Hotel is in a prime position and provides a welcoming setting for a short stay. We ate in the hotel during our stay because the selection on the menu was varied and tasty.

Cromarty is small but a lovely place to visit and walk around. The views are fantastic. The sea and country views are lovely and even the oil rigs being decommissioned or refitted look spectacular when lit up at night. There are some great walks around the shoreline and over South Sutor. Not many places to eat out but we tried them and they were fine. Handy local shops.
The location is excellent. The beds in the twin room are very comfortable. My daughters LOVE this room, especially the reading nook! The living room is nice and cosy. We appreciated the selection of DVDs. Love the house, though there are a few things that could improve it (see below). We've had 2 really wonderful stays at Seashell Cottage and we adore Cromarty.
We stayed in the old shoe shop. The one bedroom apartment was exceptional and so well stocked. Shirley and Alasdair were so welcoming and made our stay memorable. I would have given it ten stars if possible and certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a central stay in the lovely town of cromarty.
Everything. The welcome basket had a lot of thoughtful touches, the whole property was cosy, homely and comfortable. There were excellent options for dining out in Cromarty, and the whole town is very picturesque. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
Fiona was a fantastic host, very helpful throughout our stay. We had a large number of options for breakfast and really enjoyed our stay. The Factor's house is perfectly located in Cromarty, very convenient for walks nearby and for wildlife (dolphins) spotting.
Cromarty js a beautiful little fishing village with nice pub and eateries. Also a small cinema, shops and superb bakery.
Highfields bed and breakfast Bedroom: High standard decor and fittings, large room, comfy bed. Overlooking fields to wards the sea
Tides cottage was idillic! The cottage was so was comfortable, everything had been thought of. It was a few steps from the shoreline at Cromarty in one of the many little lanes.
Loved fact hotel on beachfront and dogs permitted so our spaniel had the best time ever. Room had sea view which was just stunning. The room was huge and spotless.
