Campanile Hotel Runcorn, hotel in Daresbury

The Campanile Hotel Runcorn is located in Runcorn town center, 394 feet from Runcorn Railway Station and 7 minutes’ drive from the M56 motorway.

Very close proximity to the train station and no more than a 10 minute walk to the town centre. It was cheap and cheerful but had all of the facilities needed and the room, although very basic, was warm and comfortable. It was more than adequate for one night and we would definitely stay again.

I stayed for 2 hours and left for another hotel absolutely disgrace of a hotel. food over priced asked for room service at the desk was told that's fine rang 6 times to get it finally answered and was told there not doing it when I went to get my food there was 3 staff just sat around gossiping about other staff members. The food was over priced rubbish 14 point for burger and chips the burger was near enough raw in the middle when to speak to the staff no one was around. Also the toilet made a horrendous noise when flushing am assuming this is the pump but continued to go off every few minutes. I tried to get a relaxing bath but the toilet noise ruined this I asked a member of staff about the TV as I was struggling to find the channels to be told she didn't no either no offer of help or to find someone who new all in all I feel like you have stolen 78 pounds off me, please check my card access I spent about 2 hours there my room was 3005 I stayed Thursday. Mr Ingham very unhappy guest

There was no telephone in the room so couldn’t order room service. The television did not work at all. The shower had no rack in it so had to balance soap on glass door. The lifts were out of order. The bedside lamp was broken The bar and restaurant were over a five minute walk away

Awful, rooms dated, bathrooms dated, duvet on bed was like a sheet, no extra pillows.... no ambience about the place... no extra little touches in the room. I know we got the room for a good price but for what we got I actually feel ripped off. Worst stay ever couldn’t wait to get home. Really question the 4* more like a 2*

We have stayed in your hotel before at the start of 2019 and enjoyed our stay. We stayed again last night 15/02/20 and I can honestly say it was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced! And I would like a full refund. We was put in Room 1002. The one right at the end of the glass corridor next to vending machines. A tiny little dirty room, we had to go and ask for towels and a remote as these were not in the room. We used the pool and the jacuzzi was off and the pool was absolutely freezing! We went back to our room and try and get some sleep as we have a event to go today... and sleep we did not!! I believe there was a wedding or some other event. Being in that room where it was every 10 minutes there was drunk people stumbling past our room, singing shouting etc. People using the vending machines etc it was absolutely ridiculous. We spoke to a couple who booked that day who payed £39 and got a lovely room in a quiet corridor were we paid £42 a week in advance to be kept awake all night. We work hard all week and was looking forward to relaxing and we have come away more tired

Convenient location, loads of car parking space.

Convenient location, loads of car parking space. An excellent hotel with friendly staff. Just the rooms are looking tired, need refurbishing but they are large, warm and clean. Good for our stay for two nights in order to visit friends. Would recommend with reservations regarding rooms that need refurbishing but they are comfortable.

This is very nice place to stay.

This is very nice place to stay. I would say the room i stayed in is over due a refresh but that didn't bother me too much. Some wallpaper was peeling in one corner. The room was warm, the bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and fresh. This is quite a large hotel and it has some nice facilities.
