The hotel was by the river ness and the view was mesmerizing. Just a few minutes walk from the city centre and 10 minutes walk from the train station.

The location was just perfect for someone looking at heading out to Isle of Skye early in the morning. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was decent.

I loved the size of the room and the host was easy to get ahold of and the check in process was at my own leisure. The property perfectly marked and it was easy to find and the host sent directions as well.

We enjoyed our stay in the boutique style accomodation. Room was large and comfortable, the staff were amazing and location was a short walk to centre of town. We also took advantage of the dining area for breakfast and dinner.

Daviot itself is a peaceful rural location, but is less than fifteen minutes' drive from the centre of Inverness, and about 25 minutes' drive from the middle point of Loch Ness. There are a couple of large 24h supermarkets within fifteen minutes' drive, and Culloden Battlefield is very close-well worth a visit. We can't recommend Maranatha Cottage enough, we had a wonderful stay there, thank you to Anne and Donald for their hospitality.
