The Globe Inn is right in the centre of Chagford. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is excellent and so is the beer. The inn was very popular, so there was a good atmosphere, just like a good pub should be.

Our room was very pleasant and our two little dogs were well catered for, which was much appreciated. The dinner was good, staff very pleasant, charming & fun to talk to and we were able to talk with other guests at adjoining tables which was most enjoyable. We liked the ambience of the dining room, well laid out with smart linen table clothes but without being pretentious.

Chagford was a lovely little market town that was a pitstop on our way to Penzance from the Midlands. Ring O'Bells was a great choice as rooms comfy and the food excellent with a great choice. Lovely staff so we highly recommend.

Good choice and quality. I asked for a slight variation for breakfast on day 2 which was no problem. This hotel has wonderful people working there and seems to attract the same.

The location suited us as we were catering at Heatree - which means we left the room at 06:45 and returned at 22:00 so didn't eat breakfast or use the pub. Room 5 has no view. The room is comfortable and suited our needs.
I loved this little village, enough to keep me interested.
I loved this little village, enough to keep me interested. Great shops that catered for people with food allergies. Would definitely return.
Ate at both The Three Crowns and Chagford Inn, both of which were excellent.

Such a pretty market town, Lots of independent shop and cafes. Plenty of scenic walks. Chagford has an outdoor fresh water swimming pool set in very scenic surroundings. Breath taking views of the surrounding countryside. The town itself is bursting to the seams with very old buildings and cottages (some thatched) and is steeped in history.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive which I appreciated as I was a solo visitor. The superior twin room was more like a suite with a beautiful view overlooking the Church and grounds. I really enjoyed my evening meal by the fireplace and the food was delicious and affordable. Chagford is a magical place, absolutely stunning. I felt that my bedroom, the small details such as dressing gowns, quality of furnishings were really five star quality.
Everything is so stylish yet simple, and beautifully curated in the bedrooms and the cafe. We had a great sleep in a gorgeous room, and a tasty and generous breakfast of poached eggs with bacon, and with avocado for breakfast.
It was such a treat to be hosted by Posy and Matt; every moment and every detail of our short visit was truly exceptional, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Chagford.
Cozy and comfortable, offering a true home away from home. The accommodation has everything you need. With its own entrance and garden it feels very private, while the very kind and helpful hosts live just next door. Chagford is a very friendly town with nice shops and pubs nearby. We hope to be able to visit Dartmoor again, and will definitely choose to stay at Wrenscott again.

Our room was one of the smallest, but pretty comfortable on the whole and tastefully decorated.
Very good food and very helpful, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Always love Chagford, so great location in the centre.
Wonderful village location. Friendly, traditional pub-hotel. Lovely room with a very comfy bed and a good, firm mattress. Dog-friendly with a good supply of dog bowls and mats. Great evening meal and breakfast. Good wi-fi too.
