Fantastic location, right in the High Street & walking distance to Dorking Halls. Beautiful refurbished room with all modern touches and luxurious feel. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and genuinely friendly, the best I’ve experienced.

Soon as you walk in your taken away by the decor and how amazing it looks and smells so amazing in there. The staff are amazing smiling and couldn’t feel any more welcome.

Gorgeous country pub in a quaint village. Exceptional hospitality from Niamh (hope we've spelt your name right!). We landed in Gatwick early hours with an acquired foot injury from our holiday, Niamh rang us at 8.30am and said we could check in to get some rest as our room was ready. Niamh was absolutely lovely, a real credit to the business and obvious she has a genuine passion for her role, can't thank her enough.
Evening meal and breakfast were gorgeous, absolutely no complaints.
Lovely friendly atmosphere at night time.
Room was immaculately clean and decorated lovely.
Its a shame we live so far away as would definitely visit more often if we could.
Would highly recommend, even if just for the food :)

The staff was friendly and accommodating. For being a large, old home, they have done well to provide modern conveniences. USB charging ports near the bed, for example. Modern bathroom. Restaurant food was quite good.

Dorking is a delightful historic market town with a variety of shopping and excellent pubs and restaurants. A short distance away are some terrific places to visit, including Box Hill and Polesden Lacey, two National Trust areas that provide awesome hiking and areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The hotel was very cold, including corridors and public areas. There was a fireplace with plenty of wood, but nobody had made a fire, which would have been very welcome!!
The room was extremely cold and the handrail in the bathroom only heated up half way, the other part was stone cold.

We stayed in a country manor house completely surrounded by fields and public pathways. Great location for those who like to explore the countryside. We did not make it into town, but driving through it looked lovely and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of Dorking. Would go back again.
We had meals in Wotton Hatch Pub, and Abinger Hatch Pub - delicious food and very friendly staff. Both beautiful country pubs and well worth a visit.

Loved Dorking..feels like you’re in a market town by the coast
Lots of antique shops
Great little market by the church and car parking
I could live here in a instant
Pedestrian crossings super fast once pressed so no hanging around to get across the roads
Very dog friendly
Very people friendly ❤️
The location is quite unusual being situated in a working vineyard and it's far enough from the main road for it not to be noisy. It's great being able to go on walks straight from the hotel and yet be within a short drive from Dorking town. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the dining area was also a very nice space both during the day and in the evening. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful and accommodating. It was lovely to have a bed, towel and bowls provided for my dog.
The hotel is exactly as what you would hope and expect for an historic English manor. It is well preserved, clean, and beautiful. The room we stayed in was small but just fine (as we didn't spend much time there except to sleep). Walking the grounds was an absolute pleasure and access to a path through the neighboring forrest was on the outer edge of the grounds not too far away. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and had a great variety of things to eat and drink.
Such a pretty location and the outdoor is amazing.Staff were trying their best but very understaffed.
Food not great but you get what you pay for and it’s very reasonable here.
Had a lovely room but other family members had a privilege room which was even better so if you can afford the extra I would suggest this.Great place for kids they loved the pool and box hill.
Dorking high street 5 min drive is lovely and some great restaurants there
Location is a quiet leafy cul-de-sac in a street of 1930s houses. Perfect for the event I was participating in at the Dorking Halls. Flat was completely self-contained, modern interior, spotlessly clean and well thought out. Space to sit and eat, sofa to relax on, area to work at a laptop, clean well appointed kitchen, plenty of power sockets Lovely view of hills to rear of property. Tesco Express in walking distance or 2 mins in a car.
The property is beautifully appointed (and well maintained ) and had everything we needed for our weekend break.
Dorking town is only a 5 minute walk away but the property is situated in a very quiet area, which gave the feeling of being in the countryside rather than a town.
James is the perfect host, ensuring we had all the information needed and available if we needed him but left us to enjoy his lovely Garden Studio.
The staff were extremely lovely and looked after us very well, I felt they went above and beyond to look after us. The hotel has a very good bar which were met some friends in for a few hours and the food in the restaurant was outstanding both dinner and breakfast. We were able to enjoy the pool and facilities in the leisure club and walk round the stunning grounds.
We stayed without food or breakfast for one night and it was a very nice peaceful escape from London City, we walked around the local area and its very beautiful. The view from the room was nice, it was very very warm in the room and there was nice tea and biscuits provided. The bathroom was very nice and had a full size bath.
The staff are very helpful and so attentive
There was a cancellation to our trip due to strikes and we reached the Hotel at 2:30am
the receptionist opened the door to us and finished the check in as soon as possible so we can get to room and rest
that’s was really really nice of him
loved the place
The hotel is a lovely very old coaching in. The bar and breakfast room is modern and nice. The rooms have been done up to a good standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for anyone vising Dorking, Box Hill, the Denby Winery or surrounding area.
The Hotel is just 1min far from the winery, beautiful location and a must visit for every wine lover, especially from London; by train is only 1hr. Property is clean and food is good.
Very friendly floor staff, waiters especially have been great with us.
Lovely self contained flat. Very well provisioned with a comfy bed. Located a short walk from the high street it's in a great location. Maggie was a great host and was very accommodating when we had to amend our initial booking. Would happily stay again.
The continental breakfast was great and eggs were available on request. The location, within minutes of Dorking High Street, was ideal and very peaceful. Maggie and Richard were very hospitable and accommodating in everything.
The location of the hotel is very quant and in a very pretty area. The pub offered a great variety of food, we had both dinner and breakfast and both meals were great. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful.
Lovely building and scenery. The staff was friendly and the bar seating are was perfect for grabbing a quick bite. We had a nice little swim in the spa area with the children so all and all a great hotel.
Beautifully renovated apartment. Incredible view. Very spacious and comfortable. Great location easy walk to the high street and the train station. Would recommend highly to anyone
Friendly welcome. Clean and tidy room. Fab breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere. Fab location, just 5 mins walk from Dorking town centre. Car parking convenient at front of property.
