Everything, there is simply nothing to fault at all! A very warm smiley welcome through to the lovely room, garden, service, jollity both the Host and her partner - unfortunately I didn't catch the names on arrival. The dinner and breakfast just delicious! Oh location is great too. We arrived by motorbike last minute and totally safe.
Very relaxing tranquil atmosphere. 😁 going to return!!

Good value. I had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. I liked the kettle and the tea bags. It was a very good price, the room was clean and well-equipped and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

If it was possible to give a six star rating, I would certainly have given one. Everything about this property was first class and more. This 16th Century building is amazingly well looked after and the rooms were as authentic as they come. This is the yardstick that all pub hotels should be measuring up to. Nearly all the staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. This was made even better with the freshly cooked breakfast that I was served. It is one of the places to stay even if you are not doing anything in the area. I could go on and say a lot more but you should get the point by now. Thank you, well done and keep up the fine work!

Lovely size room, reception staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The spa was a perfect treat for R and R. We booked our stay as a birthday treat and were very touched to receive a complimentary drinks voucher and find some delicious mini cakes beautifully presented in our room. Our dinner was also lovely in the Bay Tree restaurant, service was excellent and efficient. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Standard room was large with a great comfortable bed and very clean. The Superior room was larger and again very clean and had both a bath and shower, with a large 4 poster bed. It is a shame we were only there for one night for an event, otherwise we would have happily based ourselves there for a few days. We knew it was an old building with all the creaks and high maintenance that comes with that, so of course it needs a updating in places but it was clean, with friendly staff and customers and had a large carpark. The tea, coffee, hot choclate and biscuits were appreciated.

Gorgeous farm views and a nice place to get her with our friends also staying there. The breakfast experiences were amazing - fully five star!
The castle and grounds are simply so beautiful. The suite I booked was even better than the photos on the site and the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I came away very relaxed and can't wait to return.

Two favourites to visit once you have taken in the Castle and grounds, is Chartwell (once the home of Winston Churchill) and Penshurst Palace, a short drive from your venue.

Edenbridge, close to Heaver Castle, and our visit to the castle and gardens was excellent. all very well organized. In the castle you receive a headphone set in order to follow the history and the rooms.. the whole setting is spectacular. I have visited many castles in my life, but this is one of the best.

It is beautiful place to stay and immerse yourself in history. The rooms are nicely decorated in line with the historical period the property represents. They are very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The visit to the castle gardens after the official opening times brings you a sense of being in an enchanted place. My family and I had a very memorable stay!

I visited the place to participate in the Castle Run series.
I visited the place to participate in the Castle Run series. The town of Hever itself is a small one, the castle grounds are worth a visit. I wish I'd stayed a day longer to soak up that quietness. If you don't arrive by car, it might be somewhat uncomfortable to walk along the vehicle roads with no sidewalk most of the time, though.
Stunning room decor - we requested Tiger Lily room and were extremely grateful to have this request met. The bed was very comfortable, beautiful view from the dual aspect windows, amazing bath. We had dinner at the hotel and this was brilliant - great option for vegan requirements and very friendly attentive service. Breakfast was delicious and wonderful setting. Enjoyed using the billiards room. Very special to be able to access the stunning grounds before and after they're open.
I know this Isn’t a traditional airport hotel, but every time I fly through Gatwick, I stay a night. It is about a 30-40 minute drive to the airport and rarely any traffic.
Staying at Hever is everything you want to experience in UK - magical castle, stunning gardens, and a few great pubs in the neighborhood for dinner. The rooms are each unique and so well decorated…steeped in history. The staff were very attentive. Much gratitude.
Our hosts were excellent in providing detailed information for our stay. Loved the history of the house, the character and the location. It's a five-ten minute walk to Edenbridge Town station, which gets you into London within 40 minutes. The leisure centre is a ten minute walk away, and a nice river walk five minutes away. Plenty of choice for supermarkets, and a couple of good pubs and coffee shops.
We enjoyed a feeling of peace and tranquillity that we had throughout our stay. The Greyhound is a relatively small hotel with only a handful of rooms. The small restaurant servers predominantly the residents but with just a couple of other tables.
The food was excellent and our room was furnished to a very good standard along with an interesting variety of art work displayed throughout premises.
The bedroom was lovely, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. The decor of the rooms and bar/restaurant was lovely. Superb breakfast, restaurant food was great. Very quiet location, which was central to a family occasion at Markbeech, and to visit Hever, Edenbridge, and Chartwell.
Fantastic place to stay. The hotel lived up to my expectations. Beautiful room overlooking the gardens.
Staying in the hotel onsite meant that we were first in the castle at 10.30 before it got too busy. The Italian Gardens are breathtaking. Lovely walks around the lake.
We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The hotel is charming, we were upgraded - much to our surprise - and had a beautiful room with a view out over the grounds, the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful and we will definitely return in the New Year.
The interiors have a hotel feel and make it a very comfortable pub. Working nearby, I'd booked here for a bit of a treat. Exceptional commitment to cleanliness and COVID-19 considerations made me feel safe.
Friendly and Attentive staff. Quality/Quantity/Variety of breakfast menu. Seating was comfortably spaced and the Ambience of the dining area was amazing!
