Absolutely fantastic place to stay, so different and would highly recommend.
Weather was lovely and sat with Prosecco on the decking, which was on ice for us when we arrived.
1 night was too short - will be back again.

We liked being in the middle of nature and countryside and also being along side the farm animals.
In a gated development, Millers House provides light and elegant rooms with 32-inch TVs, just 10 minutes’ walk from Emsworth’s center.

The room was a bit small but had what we needed including tea/coffee and sockets by the bed. The shower room was also small but worked very well, with an excellent shower. The breakfast included a menu of hot options but we chose to make our own toast (wholemeal or white options) with jam/marmalade/honey - there was also some fresh fruit, tinned fruit, yoghourt, cereal. Staff brought pots of tea/coffee to the table. The floors are immaculate wood. There is a lounge with daily newspapers. Ample parking. Very conveniently located for a few days sightseeing in Sussex/Hampshire.

This is an amazing boutique hotel which has only recently been opened so everything was brand new. It has a youthful vibe and the word ‘quirky’ comes to mind. We stayed two nights in the Jungle Room which has striking décor with a jungle theme, hence the name. The hotel is under the same management as JJ’s, the bar/restaurant next door. On the other side is a pub so we asked for a quiet room and we were pleasantly surprised to have no problems with noise whatsoever. This hotel does not serve breakfast and although we were told we could get something to eat at JJ's we actually went to Flintstones. After booking the hotel we were emailed by Holly with all pertinent information and the room payment was made through a Bank transfer, which went smoothly. Holly even phoned us before our arrival to check that our plans remained fixed. We left before 8.00 a.m. so were able to leave our key with a member of staff at JJ’s.

There was a good choice of places to eat for an Evening meal. I chose JJ`s & was very happy with my choice. It seems very popular & had a `buzz` about it. I walked from my B&B for about 15mins to the centre of Emsworth.
Friends met me on day 2 & they chose Driftwood Cafe to have a catch-up & a coffee in. That to was very popular & we were well taken care of. I admired a number of paintings on the walls by a local artist.
Also a little shop `Karen George` caught my eye as there was a lovely jumpsuit in the side window & a nice Summer dress in the front window. However, I tried on a trendy green Robell jacket that complimented a jumpsuit I was wearing & that would go with a number of other outfits.
All in all a lovely stay in the area.

Nice village , strolled around the harbour and village which was pleasant . Lots of options for eating and all seemed to be busy . I would stay in the same B and B and visit the village again and also use it for a base to visit further afield.

We enjoyed the splendour of a country house with excellent personal service for the owners who made us extremely welcome. It made a very pleasant change from the impersonal service of a hotel.
Food was local where possible and we were served with a lovely breakfast and possibly the best scrambled eggs we have eaten in a very long time!
Portsmouth isn't far away so plenty to see and do in the area.
Would love to return.

A picturesque small town, epitomised by its pretty harbour area that provides excellent walks. The town itself is historic and quaint, and contains some individual shops that are good to use. There are several places to eat lunchtimes and evenings, including a number of pubs and a highly regarded Italian restaurant. Two of the pubs, close to the waterside, can get quite crowded at popular times, but they serve good food and do a good job. Like everywhere else, ‘cost of living’ price increases are noticeable, but Emsworth (being in an affluent area) is the sort of place that can sustain this.

The b&b was good for short & longer stay, it did what it says on the tin it's a b&b, no more no less, excellent stay and excellent staff, easy and reasonable price train link to Portsmouth.
The accommodation is small but beautiful and cleverly designed. An extremely comfortable bed. The Ark is spotlessly clean and in a safe location with views of the river. Lovely welcome gifts and a good breakfast. Minor issue with the heating but very quickly resolved by our host. Warm and plenty of hot water for the shower. The Ark is close to Emsworth town centre so near pubs, restaurants and shops. We chose to walk to town so a little dark on the return journey so take a torch with you.
My room was at the back of the hotel and overlooked the little cafe area they have behind the hotel. The sun shone into the room.I had returned from a busy morning and a fair bit of travel and felt tired. I sat on the bed with the sun shingles in and it felt very relaxing and therapeutic. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The cafe behind the hotel was lovely and felt very welcoming. There is plenty parking if you have a car.
Super clean and comfy accommodation - well equipped, with a private entrance. Even though the weather was very hot, it was nice and cool inside. The courtyard is a lovely suntrap too, great for relaxing. Very comfy bed and pillows. Lovely bathroom with large walk in shower. The location is very good, short distances from Emsworth, Bosham and Chichester. Nice to have milk, wine and biscuits provided on arrival too! Thank you, we will definitely be back!
Location was ideal for events at Goodwood and Chichester harbour. The village of Emsworth is really nice with plenty of pub/grub, the room was very clean with period features. Very comfortable with large tv over an open log fire. Walk in shower and spotless bathroom. Ideal parking outside your front door. Nice little treats left in a hamper and also a mini fridge with Coca Cola and milk. Very enjoyable stay.
The host greeted us warmly as we arrived to the private parking area. The room is large, comfortable, warm, and thoughtfully decorated. It was generously stocked with breakfast items, coffee & tea, and snacks. An ideal location to walk around central Emsworth pubs, restaurants, and coastline, and drive/train/bus to historic Chichester, Portsmouth naval docks, Brighton, and hikes in the South Downs.
A lovely character property tastefully decorated The location was perfect for me to visit Emsworth and the surrounding area. The facilities were good all round. I liked the complimentary tea and coffee.
Location good, Emsworth village 5 minutes away Beautiful house, very welcoming, good size room and great view of the garden and could see Chichester harbour. Bed very comfort had great night sleep.
I liked the pleasant atmosphere of the place. The receptionist was very helpful and her instructions to me about room and door keys, meal timings and the geography of the hotel, were very clear.N
The Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Due to the circumstances we were visiting the area they were supportive and took the time to check on us .
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Absolutely stunning property, beautifully renovated and furnished. Great care, attention to detail and quality. If this were a chain of hotels I’d travel the world in rooms like these.
Very comfortable. Excellent furnishing and well equipped kitchen. Great location near the coast - a short walk to the centre of Emsworth. Perfect for our family stay.
Fantastic and beautiful room very comfortable and extremely friendly people. As good as and if not better than lots of 5 star hotel’s. Would definitely stay there again
Very private secluded and safe location yet within walking distance of Emsworth, our host was incredibly helpful and breakfast excellent. Room immaculate
