The Lismore Hotel, hotel in Epwell

Located in the historic market town of Banbury, The Lismore Hotel is an impressive Victorian building with a restaurant, and free parking.

Beds were comfortable and there was little noise from outside the building. Cooked breakfast (paid for separately) was good, but not exceptional, and poor value at £10 each.

Sian was the perfect host, so warm and welcoming, full of good tips. Her guest house was very clean. We felt at home straight away, she even called when she thought she might miss us arriving to give us directions :) Breakfast was very good and filling! No surprises, everything is accurate to the booking page :) Thank you again Sian!

On my arrival I had a lovely meal of fish cake. It was nice to have the room away from the pub and restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating on breakfast time.

Friendly village, Good pubs with good food (x 3) a short distance away, two of which are easily walking distance. Good roads to towns like Cirencester, Gloucester or Warwick and also busy and nostalgic canal towpaths, , Picturesque villages and cotswold specials like Broadway, Stow on the Wold and Boughton are all close-by.
