My experience at the hotel was fantastic. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the receptionists were incredibly friendly. I loved the views of the canal from the rear of the hotel - it added such a lovely touch to the stay. Parking was convenient, and being close to town made exploring easy. Beautiful location. It is definitely worth having a Deluxe room overlooking the lake. The staff were so professional, very smart and friendly.

I stayed for 1 night with 3 friends after walking in the Yorkshire Dale's. The accommodation, staff, evening meal and breakfast were all excellent. This was the 3rd time we have stayed here over the years and I would definitely stay here again when walking in Yorkshire.

The hotel was a gem of a find. When booking we didn't know what to expect but it was excellent, from arrival to leaving. Extremely clean and the host was very friendly, informative, and assisted us with our needs. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed included. Parking at the rear, which was off the main road. The breakfast was amazing and had a great level of choice. If we ever need a place to stay in Skipton, we will definitely check the availability of Dalesgate Lodge first. I would highly recommend staying here.

The cottage is situated by a river in Gargrave - a lovely village with stone houses. This is a good centre for getting out to Settle, Skipton and Grassington. A well-stocked Coop. The main road going through the middle is busy but the rest is nice and quiet. Plenty of green areas for an early morning walk.
