1. Quiet 2. Fantastic location 3. Very clean We stayed in the Valley View home. We had a beautiful view over gorgeous open countryside. We loved the goats and chickens running about and it is in a very quiet location. The property has what you need - including a smart speaker, which went down well with the teenagers, and a coffee machine that uses pods (provided). Somerset is a very beautiful county, with lots of steep hills in the north and flat levels in the south. There is a lot to do - we went to SS Great Britain in Bristol and saw Clifton suspension bridge as well - plus city of Bath, the beach at Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar gorge and caves, RSPB Avalon marshes near Glastonbury, and the city of Wells. All highly recommended. We had a nice meal at Haynes and also the Hunters' Rest - both are walking distance - take a torch as the roads are narrow and unlit. The property has a little patio area and a BBQ for communal use. There is also a log burning stove inside. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cabin. It would be a great property for families with kids of all ages as well as a few friends or a couple. It has tiled floor through the main reception, bathroom, and kitchen areas. It was really spotlessly clean. My dad loved having a TV in the bedroom. It's nothing showy but Valley View worked well for us and I would stay again.

The location is superb for exploring the local area. The hosts are really welcoming and are always on hand to help and answer questions. Considering the current pandemic the hosts really do go that extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. In the evening the location is really quiet for a relaxing evening so come the morning you are refreshed to start a new adventure.
