Staff were very welcoming. The bar had a warm and friendly feel with locals enjoying a quiet drink and chatting . The room was very small but I knew to expect that and instead of being cramped, it was actually really cosy with pretty view from window. Will definately have any friends coming to visit area book the Blue Bell !

The views were lovely, there are no shops near, other than Wooler 10 minutes drive . The welcome was really lovely .The lane driving to the cottage is unlit and a sat nav is handy as no sign for cottage . Countryside is amazing .
