Filey is perfect for young families, or like us, a holiday with our grown up kids, a lovely old fashioned seaside town with plenty of pubs some with live music, and good places to eat easy to get to Brid or Scarborough on bus or train.

I love Filey as I’ve holidayed there from being a young girl, so for about 65 years so I may be biased. Filey has a magnificent stretch of sandy beach that’s dog friendly from 1st October to 31st March and the rest of the time the stretch in the middle does not allow dogs. There are lots of things to do especially for children with a park and playground for youngsters. It’s also a great place to stay and have access to many other towns and villages a short drive away.

A lovely place, loved the seafront with its tasty donut and seafood huts.Plenty of places to have a cup of tea and fish n chips. Lovely promenade for a walk and to stroll along on my mobility scooter. Plenty of free seafront parking including free disabled bays. Lovely seaside shops with all the seaside bits and bobs you want, buckets n spades, wind breakers, stick of rocks, sugar dummies, fudge and fridge magnets. The little town centre had some some lovely shops and plenty of places to eat from fish n chips to chinese. Very clean and tidy place and a must place to visit. For those with walking difficulties, it is very hilly and my mobility scooter cut out trying to go from the seafront up to the town centre so had to use the car to get there.
The property was very modern and clean. Every bedroom had its own en-suite facilities which was fantastic. No need to share bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could have needed. The location was great and within walking distance to Filey shops and seafront and only a short drive to Scarborough. Although there is no off-street parking we never struggled to find parking spaces nearby for two cars. We will definitely return in warmer weather to make use of the lovely garden.
Lovely comfortable and modern property that had everything we needed for our stay. Just a short walk to the beach and the location is very handy for Filey itself as well as the likes of Scarborough and Bridlington. We were able to park to the rear of the property okay all week. Very friendly and accomodating hosts. Had no issues with noise from the surrounding area. Happy to thoroughly recommend.
The hotel was conveniently located in the center of Filey, making it easy to get around.
The owners was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night's sleep.
Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
The hotel is in a perfect location. There was a mix up with the room as I had booked for myself and 2 children in 1 room but they were only expecting 1 child. However the staff came and put a bed up and was soon sorted. The room was very nice, clean and tidy. The food was very good.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The hotel was really nice in a central area of Filey , very clean , lovely room , breakfast was very good with ,plenty of choice , the owner chris was very friendly and attentive and made us feel really welcome , would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family
Lovely apartment with everything thought of…. So well equipped . Little reminders of Yorkshire throughout it too.
Filey is our happy place, we normally stay at The Bay, but wanted to try somewhere else and are glad we did. Fantastic location and the hosts were really helpful.
Cosy little flat with everything you needed right in the centre of Filey near shops eateries & pubs. Bed was comfy and everything clean. Takeaway menus, local maps & little games left to play. Also only a few steps away from pretty grassed area & steps down to the beach.
The property was ok, comfy bed, quality towels, clean and tidy. Tried to get Wi-Fi but at £7.99 for a day! I’ve never in all the times I’ve stayed in Filey/The Bay have we ever had to pay for Wi-Fi and ended up having to re-set my laptop!
Great location, just off the beach. Lovely and quiet. Views of Filey and Flamborough Head. Well appointed kitchen. Well maintained house and garden. Very comfortable. Convenient for a 50 min walk across the beach to Filey.
Great location in Filey by the shore. extremely safe location. Parking was easy to find near the front door of the hotel. Very easy to walk to town center even with my dodgy knees. lol
good position, close to town, coffee, pubs, shops, supermarkets all in walking distance. very comfortable. The beach and front at Filey is spectacular. A rea; hidden gem.
Great location with everything you needed in the apartment and on site. Very close to the secluded end of the beach. Only 2 miles from Filey and not far from Bridlington.
