The room was lovely, and the bed was massive. We expected it to be noisy, but there was no problem.

When said didnt want 1st floor room as had previously had noise problems with the air con, reception gave me a lovely room (still on 1st floor but upgrade) and I was very pleased with it. Super reception staff and breakfast staff.

Most things really; it’s an old Inn/pub and right in centre of town. We weren’t looking for luxury but comfort and proximity to town & Cromwell Museum
