Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was excellent.
Gravesend has deteriorated over the years. It is not worth visiting. The restaurants are few and far. I can recommend a superb local pub named the Compass: great beer and great company. Gravesend is not worth visiting (unfortunately). The last time I was there wad 1982 and it was a thriving market town but now …

Gravesend is a typical declining British town. The high Street is poor, there are 2 shopping centres that you can go round in literally 5 minutes. If it wasn't for the fact that we have family connections there, we wouldn't bother with the place.

Very nice small town with a beautiful promanade next to the river. Nice view on the river with the green area and benches that you can sit on them and relax. For short visit/weekend it's absloutely fine. For longer can be boring.

A great location, the reception lady was good, the lunch option was poor, and the area was cold but the lady on reception brought a heater which was very good.
Have evening meal but there was a lady with a dog that continuously barking . We left and went to our room. Tv could be bigger very small.
ROOM 11 (13/7/22)

Bathroom was clean and everything worked.
I met the cleaner who had done a great job ( South African lady ) well done..
I was chatting to a chap who works there and he gave me a lot of tips about the area .
Breakfast was plentiful, hot and tasty .
10/10 to all the staff I encountered.
I WILL BE BACK , AS WILL MY COLLEAGUES.
Thank you for a great stay .
Staff were all really friendly except for one waitress that was quite stressed and rude. But everyone else’s friendliness made up for it.
The kids loved feeding the ducks with the duck feed that’s was available to purchase from reception. The bar and restaurant was really nice. The hotel room view was lovely and the kids really loved the fish tank in the reception area. We would stay here again.
Good value for money, closer to a 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel. Having stayed in a different hotel every day over the last week, one of the biggest issues I've found is finding a quiet room. During my entire stay, I don't think I heard a single noise outside my room, making it very easy to relax. Staff were proactive and made sure not to keep you waiting. Free off-road parking.
I stayed in Shamrock Guest House a few times during my work-related trips. It has an excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. It’s not luxuriously decorated, but it's very well equipped (fridge, microwave, etc) and super clean! The owner is so friendly and always tries to get me the best available room. I can highly recommend it.
This is our third overnight stay at this hotel and as per previous stops, was just as perfect in every way. Great location when travelling through Kent. Clean, comfortable with brilliant insulation and double glazing ensuring a quiet peaceful night. Marvellous food to be had at the adjoining restaurant at reasonable prices.
Overall, this is a great option for an overnight stay when on the road. The rooms are simple but provide everything you need. We tried the restaurant next door and it was fine - not amazing but also not bad (albeit not super clean - everything was sticky). Staff in the hotel and restaurant are all very friendly.
This looks like a very new conversion. Certainly very smart. The beds were comfy. It was very clean and tidy with all the facilities for a self catering stay. Walking distance from town. The shower had decent pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice sized lounge area.
The apartment is located relatively close to the station and also nearby shops and isn't far to the town centre. It was clean and relatively well maintained and the kitchen had plenty of utensils etc if needed.
Great place to stay we were visiting brands hatch
Bar area and dinning room so clean rooms very nice plenty of room staff were very friendly definitely recommend this hotel
Perfectly placed for quick access to railway station, which is why we booked there - certainly not for scenery in central Gravesend! Well equipped and comfortable.
