Everything we hoped for was fulfilled.
Everything we hoped for was fulfilled. The room was excellent as were our hosts Annie & Adam, also the facilities, ironing board, fridge, hair dryer and tea/coffee. The locations very quiet with a great pub only being 2 minutes walk away. We ate in the pub for 2 nights which was superb and on the last night visited the Shalimar in Matlock, again superb. We visited Chatsworth house, Bolsover Castle & Haddon House which were extremely enjoyable experiences. Suffice to say we would definitely stay here again.

Great location.
Great location. 2 fab pubs very close by and another The Packhorse a 15 min walk. All served great food. A small simple cottage but perfectly adequate for 3 friends for a few nights away .Comfy beds and everything worked. The title shown above is Great Longstone and should actually read Little Longstone!!! What a lovely, calm, welcoming, oasis!!! We experienced a lovely stay here and would definitely return. Thanks to our hosts Anna & Ian, who are simply the nicest hosts in the business, Anna is certainly the master of her craft in all respects and what a master of her craft in producing delightful breakfasts and superb cakes.!!! Widen you belts!! Excellent!
