Only had breakfast this visit, the breakfast was good. The breakfast room was immaculate, bright and spacious. The bedroom/ensuite was very clean and of a good size.

Excellent choice of items on the dinner menu and really well cooked. The hostess was terrific and nothing too much trouble. Having a family room was a great help. This was large clean and comfortable. Easy access to A68 and A1M. Plenty of safe free parking.

Breakfast was simple bread for toast and a number of small cereal boxes. Useful for small children. We made our own breakfast and did use the bread provided. I liked the fact that the host had included small butter parcels.

Breakfast bought separately at adjoining cafe was excellent very substantial Didn't open until 9 am though. Enjoyed the privacy of the site
