Perfect location, especially for a family (with Macdonalds and Tesco Extra across the road). Not that we used them, as the restaurant is excellent... lovely food and great service. Best thing about the room?...The power shower! Wow! Best shower I have ever had in a hotel! This was our 3rd stay at the WV (each for 2 nights). It's our 'go to' hotel when we come to Stoke. Wouldn't book anywhere else. Excellent value for money.

Excellent and conveniently located. Parking was at reasonable cost of £7 per night. Room clean and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and breakfast excellent.

Very friendly staff, room was basic but functionable, food was average, potion sizes of evening meal was a little small and rather expensive, breakfast was good.
