We received a friendly welcome and shown our room which was perfect. It was spotless the bed was comfy and had a great shower. The breakfast was cooked to order and was perfect. Tea and coffee you make yourself, some people may not like that. The owner took over at an unfortunate time, just before covid, but has done a wonderful job building a very successful business.

We really enjoyed the little details that made the stay feel more luxurious such as the robes, hand cream, breakfast, and the ducks in the hot tub. Having the owner update us on the little quirks of the cabin before our arrival waa also a nice touch and made it feel like we could reach out if we needed to.

We very much enjoyed the attention, care and friendliness of the staff. They took really good care of us during our stay. The family room and our beds were superb quality as was our breakfast. Food was good we ate both nights, although staff a bit overwhelmed with the restaurant being busy. Our waitress was very pleasant and apologise for the wait, we weren’t in a rush though.
