Excellent location, tight in the heart of the town. The reception being in the bar area made it nice to hang out when waiting on family. All staff very friendly and helpful.

The house is beautiful, the environment relaxing and such a warm welcome from the manager! My room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. It was very convenient for me to be so close to the centre of Somerton and yet quietly tucked away. It was lovely to have a walk around the grounds. I will return - and thank you!

In a lovely village called Ashcott and very handy for the Ring o’ Bells public house and also the Ashcott Inn. Both worth a visit.

There are no shops or restaurants but a pub serving drinks. Several places to eat within a few miles driving along quiet country roads
The clock on the old village church chimes every hour but almost all the other sounds are of birds, cows and sheep.
