Lovely old Inn.
We had a huge room.
Lovely bathroom (except the shower door in the huge beautiful bathroom broken and didn't close properly).
Great little pub downstairs.
Good breakfast included.
This canalside guest accommodations serves seasonal food in its quaint restaurant.

We booked our stay here really last minute and it was so worth it! You can tell the Inn has a lot of history and I loved the style of the room we stayed in. We paid for breakfast included and it was delicious! The Inn is right on the Avon River and you can see the canal boats pull up. It was a very cool experience.

The location was fine - I was heading to the NEC for a show, so this was not too far away & relatively easy to get to & from the NEC. There was ample parking, which was free. I didn't use the restaurant at all during my stay, so cannot comment on whether it is good or otherwise. Getting to & from was very simple as the road leads directly to the M42. The room was acceptable, but the bed that I had was exceptionally hard & uncomfortable.

Overall it was good.. staff were unbelievably friendly during my 3 night stay well done team!!! Great value. Few bad points window was broken, shower head leaked and when I checked ot I always put the sheets in a pillow case, mattress pillows and quilt was dirty.. I can see this hotel slipping if the owner doesnt do a snag list.. its a great hotel and would hate to see it fail.. other that that I would 100% return and possibly have a wedding venue

Ate 2 of the nights in their restaurant.
Ate 2 of the nights in their restaurant. Good chef and staff
us stop right outside either side of the road going to Solihull and Stafford.
Left early and went home.
Had had enough!!
Certainly not a hotel I'd recommend due to the unwelcoming receptionist, dull grey 'ambience' of bedroom and cold unclean bathroom!!

We booked a room as we were at a function at the Hotel
On arrival no staff on reception had to wait approximately 10, we were with friends gave us the cards for the room, I booked 2 rooms one a disabled room I thought there would be a wet room so could have a shower that wasn’t over the bath, the corridor to the rooms were freezing cold.
the card worked on one room but the other wouldn’t open, had to go to reception again no one on the desk had to go into the Bar area to find someone,he did something to the card and came to the room to try the door, we said about how cold the corridor was he said they were painting some of the rooms but couldn’t smell paint, card still wouldn’t work so said we could change rooms, so we moved to another room we had to go up stairs and along to the end of the corridor
Bearing in mind we had asked for 1 disable room it was too far for my husband to walk so I went back to reception and said I needed to go back to the original room even though we had to go down stairs the room was the first door so didn’t have to walk the length of the corridor
The room wasn’t really accessible usually you have a wet room/walk-in shower, but this was a cubicle you had to step up to get in with doors which was a struggle to get in and out, I was told all rooms were the same.
If you are in a wheelchair I would suggest you call them to see if they can accommodate wheel chair users as there are no lifts and as far as I appears no accessible rooms
Wasn’t told or any information in the room of time of breakfast or what time room to be vacated
We went for breakfast lady that served was very nice & pleasant Full English breakfast was nice

Great restaurant with delicious, good quality food.
Great restaurant with delicious, good quality food.
Room was clean and spacious.
Staff were very friendly.
The floors in the rooms are extremely creaky and you can hear people in the other rooms.
However for a short break I’d definitely recommend.

This was a very convenient location for a party that we were invited to. We did manage to spend a couple of hours at a National Trust property before we went home but there were more in the area that we would have liked to have seen if we had more time.
The hotel was welcoming and nicely furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great parking with large car park. Lovely breakfast, including vegetarian option and fresh pastries, toasts, cereals too. Comfortable bed and lovely room with plenty of towels and sufficient toiletries in the bathroom. Evening meal and options available was great and super value with 2 for 1 options available too.
Hotel was convenient to getting to National Trust (just a few miles away) and the NEC Birmingham (about 7 miles).
Ample free parking and wifi. Only one armchair in bedroom and possibly slightly dates.
Shower was powerful but could not turn off fully.
Restaurant meals were great and on a 2 for 1 basis so good value too
Staff were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to help you. The breakfast was fantastic probably one of the best breakfasts I have had in a hotel!!!
The place is a little gem and we will certainly be back there as not only was the hotel lovely but the food was amazing!
The food was good, good breakfast very good value and the service in the restaurant was very friendly and polite. The hotel parking was good and access to the main roads so very convenient. A nice bar with plenty of choice and plenty of outdoor seating g too.
Great location - near to NEC which was the reason for my stay, room was very comfortable and wifi worked great. Breakfast was really tasty and good value for money. I would recommend this hotel and would most definitely stay here again.
The location was great. Within easy reach of Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas. The hotel was welcoming and the rooms clean and well decorated. Large, free car park. Evening meal was very good.
Clean and tidy hotel with great decor in Bar restaurant and generally very good in rooms with occasional issue. Food is amazing and staff are very friendly, welcoming and deliver great service.
