The place had character and was cosy. Better than staying in a chain hotel. As they don't cook evening meal we asked for suggestions and he was more than helpful and went to one of them and he was right it was perfect.

Location was good, quiet. I would say it is a bit on the small side for four guests, especially with one bathroom only and a small sitting area. Dining table is set in the hallway, next to the bathroom, so not really usable. However wasn't too much of a problem for us as we used the location as a base for exploring Shrewsbury and neighbouring areas and came back to house mostly for sleeping.

Character old school building well adapted. Hosts very pleasant and welcoming. Comfortable bedrooms with very comfortable double bed ,wall mounted TV and ensuite. Excellent breakfast, will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Shawbury.

A charming village with a local store and post office, a very old church and a couple of interesting businesses. If you enjoy rocking horses then there is a shop for you! Visit the Character Jug Store - a lovely place to visit and see good English China locally decorated in the village. Good ale and food at the historic Bear Inn (circa 1500)
