We stayed at the hotel 4 days with a large dog. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very dog friendly. The dog was only allowed in the pub area, not in the formal breakfast area, but that was no problem for us. The breakfast was very good. There was a breakfast menu to choose from and some extra cereal and milk. The room was very clean. There is not a lot of parking spots available and guests from the pub can also park there. One day we returned late and we couldn't park our car at the parking lot of the hotel. Luckily there is free parking in the street or 5 min walk away is an extra free public parking lot available. The location is very close to Sissnghurst Castle and gardens.

This is a lovely pub hotel. Historic, quirky, well looked after. It feels beautifully maintained and fresh whilst being sympathetic to its age. Evening meal delicious. Not cheap, but when the plates arrived each entirely justified their pricing by being special. Pub fish and chips never normally this individual and delicious. Breakfast matched. Staff were exclusively friendly, chatty and helpful.

The rooms were so spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel is very charming and you feel really at home. Everything was thought about with a variety of teabags, oat milk and even calming spray in the bathroom.
Had everything I needed and more! Staff very friendly and accommodating. I had a great sleep and the location was so beautiful to wake up to in the sunshine. Exceptional value for money!
