The Hope Anchor, hotel in Icklesham

This mid-18th century former inn offers unique rooms, free Wi-Fi, and excellent views of Rye.

I've stayed in The Hope Anchor 3 times and will definitely stay there again. The rooms are comfortable, with the right degree of Rye quirkiness, the staff are friendly and it's a great breakfast.

Set in beautiful countryside, Sedlescombe Golf Hotel is next to Sedlescombe Golf Club. Sedlescombe Golf Hotel has luxury bedrooms with spacious en suite bathrooms and twin basins.

Lovely surrounding and view from our window, although a safety catch would have enabled us to have the window open at night. The mattress was very comfortable. We enjoyed the spacious room, it was very clean and well appointed.
