The host was very attentive and friendly. The location was quiet and the place was very nice. Beware the budget room is extremely small.
Set in the Cairngorms National Park, the Coylumbridge Hotel offers a wide range of activities including a dry ski slope and pool. The hotel also boasts 2 restaurants and 2 bars.

Absolutely stunning, better than we could have asked for!
Absolutely stunning, better than we could have asked for! Lodge was gorgeous and location was spectacular (makes coming home very sad). All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed archery 🏹 a day of watersports too which was also very reasonably priced. Coffee from the Boathouse was spot on and the meals were yummy! Really really impressed and will definitely be back! 🏄♀️🚣🏊♀️

The location is lovely by the lochside, but that is to be expected for a water sports facility offering what it does.
The rooms were clean and adequate though maybe small for a long stay.
The bar and dinding area was large and airy and had lovely sunny outlook over the loch with open terrace and tables.

The views of the loch and surrounding areas was amazing watersports readily available and close to landmark for kids. So many things to do in the area Highland wildlife park, Aviemore, and Cairngorms we will go back but probably choose a bigger room for a longer stay
The idea of getting people together is brilliant. We admired Tony's enthusiasm and tenacity. Transforming this place to a hotel has been his long term dream and passion which we really admired. It was great to read his story in the booklet in the room, so that we knew how this place has come about. We wish him all the best for the future. It was a shame we didn't have time to have more chat with him. All in all, this place can be an inspiration for many people...
The accommodation was tiny and a bit old. The bathroom is a wet room and our drainage was blocked so the water was reaching the door. We called the “out of hours” number and it got fixed within 20 minutes. Unfortunately the designated smoking area was just outside our window. Otherwise the location was great, breakfast was being served in the restaurant by the lake. The ladies in the restaurant were very nice.
This is an exceptional place to stay. Tony explains in a booklet how he has come to develop this house as principally accommodation for veterans from the armed forces but all welcome. Everything was clean, warm, comfortable, very new. I had a wee dog and no charge. Kitchen with fridge and microwave. Kincraig has a lot to offer if you are a walker, outdoors person. Personally I loved everything about it.
It was very clean and a well laid out accommodation for our group.
Great living space for our group to have a laugh and chill out.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The accomodation was in the perfect area for the activities we attended and it helped us a lot with timings and changing.
Beautiful accommodation, ideally situated for my cycling needs. It was great to have a lockable outside storage room for my bike. Everything has been thought of by the owners including spare items should any crockery/glasses get broken. The bed was particularly comfy!
What's not to like about Shetland cottages. Great accommodation, fantastic location and scenery. Lots of things to do within the area or a short drive away. We stayed with our toddler and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend it to everyone.
It was a beautiful property with self catering cabins and hotel rooms attached to a watersports resort with facilities directly on loch Insh. The rooms are basic and well maintained. The staff are helpful and kind.
Facilities were excellent. The lodge was well equipped, clean & spacious. This was better than some B&B accommodations we have stayed in before.
The hot tub was amazing.
Staff were very friendly & welcoming.
Nice room, kids loved to sleep in upper bunks. When booked the hotel, we didn’t know that it will be in such a fabulous place next to the Loch Insh, kids just was over the moon. Staff was nice and helpful.
Hosts were responsive and helpful when we ran into issues in getting to our room outside of standard check in hours. The accommodations we're excellent and the room we stayed in was cute and cozy.
Lovely accommodation, very comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend to anyone who is travelling and wants a quiet location. It’s very well situated and close to the major route north
