Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check-in. Bangor is close enough to the North Wales attractions for this accommodation to be considered when visiting Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon, the coast, etc.

On entering the Slate Hotel reception, it had a lovely cosy feel. All the staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep in the comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant on the day we arrived. The food was well priced, plentiful and delicious. We booked here as a stopover before catching an early morning ferry the next day. We would definitely stay there again.
