Riverbanc, hotel in Llandegla

Situated in Llangollen, 37 km from Chester Racecourse and 44 km from Chester Zoo, Riverbanc features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building.

Excellent location in the town. The cafe staff provided a first class breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the river, which view we also had from our room. The ladies in the cafe went over and above what was required by allowing us to keep our bags in the office, allowing us to roam around unencumbered by luggage. Thank you ladies and thank you Riverbanc. Highly recommended.

While the village is small, there are still plenty of things to do. A lovely community shop and cafe, nearby fishery and cafe, forest where you can go walking and mountain biking. We had a fantastic dinner at the Crown Inn (based on other people's rave reviews). Great food, value for money, happy, friendly staff and customers and dog-friendly. Armed with satnav and a bit of googling it's easy to find plenty of things to do nearby and a bit further afield, whether the weather is great or something to be avoided!
