Located in Llangoed and only 29 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, Modern Shepherd's Hut Retreat for 2, Dog Friendly provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Superbly appointed shepherds hut retreat. Beautifully clean and well thought out design. Welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts but not at all intrusive. Enclosed garden area and perfect for our dog too. The wood fired hot tub was an unexpected but welcome and great experience. Would definitely highly recommend

Anglesey Arms Hotel, hotel in Llangoed

In the pretty village of Menai Bridge, the 200-year-old Anglesey Arms is rich in original charm and traditional character, with en suite rooms, tasty home-cooked food and real ales.

Great manager who was very willing to give us a change of rooms. We found our original room too noisy...it was over the bar.

A great central location for long and short walks in the area such as Penmon lighthouse, St Seriols, Aberlleiniog castle leading to Lleiniog beach on the Menai Straights, Llanddona beach connected to Red Wharf Bay, the coastal path and a nature reserve. The views in the area are stunning of the mountains, the sea and countryside. Beaumaris is a short drive or bus ride away. The area is hilly and very steep in places, there are a lot of single track roads with passing places.
