Great location, right in the centre of town.
The room was lovely…so many complimentary products, we felt very spoiled.

This was the quintessential country pup. It was everything I was hoping for right down to the resident border collie Labrador Emma. Dog friendly pup.
The staff were great, the food fantastic, apparently the chef has been there 19 years and folks come from all over to eat.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
Every little detail was thought off.

We were on the way from South Wales on a motorbike back to South England (on our way to Dover). Arrivimg late afternoon and departing right after breakfasts, I would have liked to stay around for some more time to visit cities nearby

It’s close to a number of gardens and stately homes which suits a stay in the Cotswolds. Morton-in-March is better for facilities. The road is quite busy and therefore Long Compton isn’t as quiet as it would appear.
Location was wonderful, hotel provided a host of information on local places of interest and specialist businesses eg Cotswold Distillery. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order. Staff were very friendly even though the pub was really busy, made sure that l had everything l needed. Room was lovely and quiet even though it was over one of the entrances to the pub. The shower was fantastic! The best ever, either at home or in any other hotel. Couldn't fault anything would definitely stay there again.
The cottage is in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. It has all the facilities which are needed but is uncluttered.
The welcome pack, including milk and homemade cake, was tremendous and just what you need after a long drive.
The location is excellent and Long Compton itself is a very pleasant village. The owners left a comprehensive set of information and instructions, including maps of good local walks. The local pub is good and friendly.
Lovely country pub/hotel, cozy and atmospheric.
The bar had two log burners, which added to the cozy feel.
Our room was lovely, well appointed with a really comfy bed.
The best element by far was the food, we had an evening meal, delicious, the beef shin just fell apart it was so tender.
Breakfast was just as good.
The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.
We will definitely be returning.
Brilliant hotel, very well ran with a nice restaurant. Only reason it wasn’t perfect for me was room ‘Violet’ looks onto the entrance with a street light that didn’t go off until after midnight, because of the non blackout blind it shon through. The shower drain was clogged so filled with water. Both however quite minor issues for an otherwise very good b&b. Thank you Red Lion!
The location was lovely, while the pub/hotel itself was excellent. Massive (and very nice) garden, proper pool room bar as well as excellent eating area and food. The rooms aren't huge, but have everything you would need and are really comfortable. The staff led by Lisa were lovely...we had such a great stay.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Hotel room including bathroom was spotlessly clean. Bedroom was so cosy and comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. This was my second visit to this hotel and will definitely book again.
The quirky room, the choices of Molton and Brown products provided and the modern decor set the tone of the room.
The food was excellent and do was the staff service.
Plenty of parking.
Would definitely recommend the hotel.
Awesome staff & hotel & bar was spotlessly clean. Food was amazing really enjoyed the red lion plenty car parking with a very nice beer garden also. I would recommend staying here to friends & family.
The staff at this property are fabulous. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. There are a number of interesting walks you can take in the area, and Stratford-upon-Avon is nearby for plays.
