We loved staying at the Fieldside Barn. The location is amazing. We saw lots of rabbits, a few deers, and even a fox just outside of the barn. Our dogs were welcome as well. The bed was very good, the kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. Would love to stay again!

Excellent breakfast options, appreciated details of gluten-free items on display (and a staff member checked for me), and the best selection of milk options we've experienced at a hotel (dairy, oat, soya). The selection of breakfast foods and the options for different diets exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very useful to be able to have 3 adults to a room for a family group. Having iron and ironing board in room was also helpful (and much more convenient than having to go to reception to request them), because purpose of our visit was to attend a formal function and it meant we could iron clothing the night before.

Beautiful building and grounds. Staff very friendly. Loved the pool. Our room was very nice. Large and opened onto the garden with a small table to sit out at.

Easy location, just off of the A34.
Very clean, lovely staff! So welcoming and accommodating!
Also a gym on site, it is small but enough for what is needed.
We had breakfast at the hotel, it hit the right spot, fruit, yogurts and the usual cooked breakfast and toast available.

This is a great place for a short or longer stay..really clean, warm, comfortable and thoughtfully done with everything you could need for overnight or a longer holiday. Lovely position, quiet and rural and good directions so easy to find….
Not a complaint at all but you may need to bend your knees to have a shower if you are tall as bathroom has a sloping roof.

Picturesque village, well used road runs through it due to its access with the river. This was a business trip for my husband, getting out of the village in the morning was very busy. The pub within walking distance, which we were intending to eat at, was closed on Mondays! This was unfortunate as I think it would have been perfect.
