It was a perfect place for some rnr whilst visiting friends in Somerset. A lovely old building that had once been a Mill. The grounds were lovely, a stream, lake daffodils and a peacock and peahen made it so very welcoming. The owner and I chatted a lot and I was made to feel extremely welcome. I slept well and comfortably. I only needed a light evening meal which they were happy to do and lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before heading off. I would recommend Hornsbury

The atmosphere of this place is really cool, lively bar and love the quirky features in the rooms. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and breakfast in the morning was delicious and very good quality, loved that you could choose how you wanted your eggs. Despite the lively atmosphere downstairs in the evening, my room was peaceful and couldn't hear downstairs at all. Check in and check out were both easy and appreciated that the invoice for my trip was emailed to me straight away saving me from chasing up afterwards. My room had a beautiful bathroom with lovely bathtub and shower. Bed was huge and mattress very comfy but the pillows were quite hard.

The Masons Arms is located in the beautiful Somerset countryside, 10 minutes’ drive from Yeovil. This charming property has a thatched roof and a stone façade, looking onto a lovely garden.

There is a door inside the entrance locked not accessible that played on our mind thinking we could be heard ad we didn't understand the layout of property. Curtains in bedroom wouldn't shut all the way. Overall stay good. Clean enough. Good bathroom, kitchen and facilities. Met the owner as we were about to leave, seemed a very genuine friendly Lady. Would book again
