Distant Lights, hotel in Lower Boscaswell

A recently renovated apartment, Distant Lights offers accommodations in Lower Boscaswell. Both Wifi and private parking are available at the apartment free of charge.

Amazing location - last property before the sea and the coastal path. Out the main window was pasture, stone fences, cattle and the sea in the distance. Amazing. Local pub and restaurant a short walk away past more cattle and stone walls. Tin mining museum (with cafe locally well known for amazing breakfasts) was also pretty short walk. Could just park the car and enjoy. Couldn’t find a better Cornish situation In addition facilities perfect for a couple -even had a clothes washing machine with a laundry tab provided (muddy paths!). Kitchen was remarkably complete. Home cooked muffins greeted us on our arrival.

Hotel Penzance, hotel in Lower Boscaswell

With wonderful views across Penzance Bay, Hotel Penzance offers award-winning cuisine and boutique bedrooms. Guests can relax in the swimming pool in the Mediterranean-style gardens.

I liked the quaintness of the building. The grounds were nice and the views from dining room, lounge and patio were fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable and serviced each day. Coffee, tea and snacks were provided which was a nice extra touch. Even though I had a more economical room, the view from windows was of a bamboo forest and flowers - very pleasant.

Great location on Chapel Street. Restaurants, Tesco & shopping within walking distance. Really helpful and friendly staff. Option for cooked breakfast comes with the cost of the room + coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, and cereal items too. Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk helped us get a taxi, which was very nice. Overall good experience.

Easy self-check in even though we arrived late at night. Mike, Ally & Elvis are wonderful hosts. Mike recommended lots of places that we shouldn’t miss in Cornwall. The living room and breakfast room are beautiful. Lots of breakfast choices and the hot foods are well prepared and delicious. Free parking on street is convenient.

Pendeen is a small town, with a surprising number of pubs and restaurants for a place of this size. The Cornish coastal path can be accessed easily, there are some nice walks if you do not want to use your car. Penzance, Land's End, Land's End Airport and St. Ives are just a short ride away.

Everything about the property was up to a very high standard. The interior looked new. The village is small with a Spar shop. The Fish & Chip shop was closed when I was there. The bus service is very good. Buses leave the village serving St Ives, Penzance, Lands End and others places.
